Maybelline Mascara | Castor Oil | Laura Mercier Foundation, Translucent Powder, & Mineral Pressed Powder | Anastasia Brow Wiz | Ted Baker Makeup Bag (similar)

I am by no means a beauty wiz, but I did want to share some things that I am loving right now. For starters, Maybellines Colossal Big Shot Mascara is currently everything to me! I am seriously LOVING it right now and I by no means have long eyelashes and I can definitely tell a difference. If you want to see a difference in the length of your eyelashes this is definitely the mascara for you!

Like I said above I don’t have super long eyelashes and I’ve tried many different (pricey) ways to make them longer and I’ve finally found my favorite (cheapest) option! Castor Oil on Amazon…. this has seriously made a huge difference for my lashes. Not at first, but after using it a while it is definitely the best! It’s natural so I feel better about using it then ones with lots of chemicals AND the price tag! I mean you can’t beat it!!

Some other products I’m really loving are Laura Mercier Foundation, Mineral Pressed Powder, and Translucent Powder. I’ve used Laura Mercier makeup for a few years now and I love it. I just got the foundation and translucent powder. I usually use the tinted moisturizer, which is here and it’s great for the summer because it’s so light weight. I really wanted something with a little more coverage so I decided to try the foundation. I also love the loose foundation powder, which I use to always use. I really like the pressed powder that I’m currently using, so you really can’t go wrong with either. As for the translucent powder, this one is so popular right now so I thought I’d give it a try. I really love it and it’s great if you like to contour your face!

The Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil has actually been a favorite of mine for almost two years! I tried a different kind once and it didn’t even compare to this one. They have lots of shades so it’s definitely easy to find your perfect match and it goes on easy without being too much. I would 100% recommend this brow pencil!

Just a little extra fav of mine is my Barr-Co Candle and it is the perfect clean scent!

So, these shoes are seriously so fun and I’m obsessed with the color! They are also pretty comfortable, I did get a half size up because they told me they ran a little small. These sneakers are definitely a must have for the Spring!

This outfit has several of my favorite pieces in it, one being my tee shirt. I have it in 4 color & I love them! They are super comfy and great for layering and you can get two for $39! Also, these shoes I’ve had for years and they are a great color that matches pretty much anything and Nordstrom still carries them! My utility jacket is BP. that I got at Nordstrom several years ago and it’s a really great transition piece, I linked a newer version above.  I got these jeans from a local boutique called Luxe and their website is here, but they don’t have these jeans on their website. Happy Valentines Day! I thought nothing was more fitting than showing y’all my favorite leggings I recently got. Cutout leggings are in right now and they’re everywhere. I found several pairs of leggings that look so similar to mine. They reminded me of a pair of Onzie leggings I have that I shared in a post here. I actually linked a pair of Onzie ones above that I found in a color almost identical to the ones I’m wearing.

I’m absolutely in love with this style of Nike’s right now. They are the Juvenate style and they are so comfortable and lightweight. I literally want them in every color and they are currently on sale! You just have to add them to your cart at the link above and they’ll give you the discount!

Cowl Neck Sweater | B.P. Leggings | Frye Boots (similar here & here) | Tory Burch York Tote | Kate Spade Watch | Kendra Scott Earrings | Bracelets: David Yurman | Pearl Ring: David Yurman

It got really cold really quick here! This cowl neck sweater is so warm and perfect for winter. It’s definitely made oversized, so I’d go down a size. I’m wearing a small but I wish I had got an XS instead. My leggings are my absolute favorite pair I have, they are so comfortable and a great price.

My Frye boots I’ve had for almost 4 years and they are still in great shape. Frye boots are definitely good quality boots if you’re looking for some to last you a long time. I’ve found a few similar pairs that are linked above.

Buffalo Check Button Up | Camo Tee Shirt (similar) | B.P. Booties | Tory Burch York Tote | Monogram Necklace {size 3XL}| Kate Spade Watch | Bracelets: David Yurman | Bracelet: Lenny & Eva | Hoop Earrings  | Pearl Ring: David Yurman

I hope everyone’s having a great start to the new year! I’m really hoping for some snow soon! Today I’m sharing a mom casual outfit. I’m mixing prints and I’m really liking it. I love buffalo check with a cheetah print but I decided I’d try camo with it. I feel like camo acts as a good neutral and you can really do anything with it. My button up is old but it’s from Old Navy.

I also want to point out that I love these booties and I’ve had them for several years now. They are from Nordstrom and they are the B.P. brand, so they are very reasonably priced. They have them in several color options and they’re currently ON SALE!

Top 10 Outfits of the Year & 2017 Goals

Monday, January 2, 2017

Well I must say I wrote 2016 at the top of this post, then quickly realized it’s a new year! Happy 2017… almost did it again!

Today I thought I’d share my personal top 10 favorite outfits I’ve posted in 2016. I know I haven’t been able to post much because school, sorority, and life just make it a little harder than you’d expect. One of my goals for 2017 is to try to figure out when in my schedule I can make time to post at least once a week, which I’ll share more of my goals down below!

So I started my blog on May 20th of 2016, so obviously that is one of my top 10’s of this year! You can see the full post here.

I love this post from May 23rd because these Hunter rain boots are literally everything!! The color is nothing short of bold but I absolutely love them! Check out the full post here.

I love this post from August 1st because of the bright pop of colors. It’s the perfect outfit for the  spring and summer months! You can find the full post here.

National Wear your Lilly Day is definitely in my top picks because I love Lilly Pulitzer and this dress is one of my favorites that I have! This post from June 20th  can be found here.

And yet another Lilly dress in my top 10 posts of the year. I love this post because first of all this dress and second because what better background than palm trees at the beach?! Definitely of my favorites! Full post from June 30th here.

So this post is a little different than the others because it’s definitely more casual but that’s why I like it. It’s simple and so easy to wear but my earrings really made it stand out! The post can be found here from August 9th.

So this was the outfit I wore to my 20th birthday dinner with my family and I loved everything about it! The back of this top is AMAZING! This post is here from September 18th.

Where to I even begin with this one?! I’m so obsessed with everything about this outfit and these OTK boots are literally my favorite pair right now! This outfit screams fall! You can find this post from October 13th here.

I love this sweater I got from Nordstrom, it is perfect for the fall! This post from November 1st can be found here.

My last outfit is this one from December 1st. I love this button up jean skirt. This outfit is could definitely be my favorite of the year. The full post is here.

So I have a few goals for 2017, one of which I shared above- to blog more often. Which will be a challenge with so much always going on but I really want to make an effort to balance everything!

Another big goal for this upcoming year is to do what makes me happy and worry less. Anyone that knows me knows I’m a MAJOR stressor, worrier, and control freak! The list goes on but just to name a few. I’m definitely far from spontaneous and I like to always have a plan/know the plan, so for 2017 I definitely want to try to let go a little more and not overthink things. School is one of the biggest things I worry and stress about and my mind is nonstop 24/7. I’m really going to try and not let things get to me because honestly what does that help.

Lastly, I just want to live everyday to its fullest and live without regrets of not doing something. I want to take advantage of all the opportunities I have and maybe travel more. I’m definitely a homebody, but I do love going on trips so this year I hope to see more new places and learn to appreciate everything I have because I’m definitely one lucky girl.

I love this puffer vest, it’s the perfect color of pink. It’s perfect to add to any neutral colored sweater in the winter! These jeans are the most comfortable pair I own. I got them at Free People and have linked a similar pair. I’m loving this Tory Burch bag, it’s the perfect tote bag!

My monogrammed necklace is on sale and I’m wearing the size 3XL. It’s the perfect gift!

Christmas Plaid

Friday, December 23, 2016

Love Stitch Sweater (similar styles here, here, & here) | Plaid Scarf (similar here & here) | Banana Republic Jeans (all jeans here) | Very Volatile Booties | Longchamp Tote | Kendra Scott Necklace | Kate Spade Earrings (similar here) | Ray-Ban Sunglasses

Happy Friday! Only 2 more sleeps till Christmas!

I’m loving this outfit, it’s so comfortable and festive for the holiday season! My Love Stitch sweater is so soft. I bought it at a local boutique quite a while ago, but I love it in this color because you can do so much with it. I’m all about neutral colored clothes, because the possibilities are really endless with how I can style them. I linked three Love Stitch sweaters that I love and are similar to this one. I added my plaid scarf I got at Target years ago when plaid blanket scarfs became the ‘it’ thing to wear. I linked Target’s plaid scarfs, as well as one almost identical to mine.

My booties are so comfy and I loved this color because it was so different and in the colder months my clothes tend to be so dark I thought they’d be perfect to add a pop of color. As for my Longchamp bag, I spilt coffee on it months ago and I’ve hardly carried it since but it’s seriously one of my favorite bags I’ve owned. It’s so lightweight and a great gift, I got my mom one for her birthday.
